Getting started
What kinds of businesses do you build for?
All kinds of businesses and organizations, from small shops to larger companies: shops, studios, trades, restaurants, professional services, schools and more. The questionnaire asks about your type of business so your site covers what your customers look for.
How long does it take?
Your first preview arrives within days, not weeks, once your questionnaire is complete and we have your logo and photos. Going live then depends on how many changes you want and when your domain is ready.
What do I need to have ready?
Your business details, a list of your services, your logo if you have one, and some photos. If you don't have good photos yet, tell us and we'll plan around it.
Do I need to know anything technical?
No. If you can fill in a short form or send an email, you can work with us.
Changes and reviews
How do I ask for a change?
Use the change-request form; email works too. Plain words are fine, and you can attach a photo or document. You'll get a reference number and a written reply, so there's always a record of what you asked for.
What's a Seed?
One Seed is one small update, like new hours, a swapped photo or an edited section of a page. Removing a page is one Seed. You get 6 a month, and they reset on each billing date. Your service agreement has the full definition.
What if I need more than 6 Seeds in a month?
Tell us. Extra Seeds are $25 each, or you can wait until your next billing date, when your 6 Seeds reset. Anything bigger is quoted before we start.
Who checks the changes?
A real person (not a bot) reviews every change before it goes live. You can also choose to approve each change yourself first.
Can I call you?
We work by email, which gives you a written record of every request and answer. If something is easier to talk through, we'll book a call.
AI and how we build
Do you use AI?
Yes. Modern tools, including AI, help us build quickly and keep prices fair. Nothing goes live until a real person (not a bot) has checked it.
Will my site look like a generic template?
No. Your site is designed around your business, your words and your photos. We use a solid shared foundation for speed and security, but the design and content are yours.
Is my site fast and mobile-friendly?
Yes. Sites are built mobile-first, load quickly and include the basics search engines look for, like page titles, descriptions and a sitemap. We can't promise search rankings, and you should be wary of anyone who does.
Pricing, ownership and cancelling
How much does it cost?
Standard is $139 a month with 6 Seeds, plus a $399 one-time setup, and includes up to 7 pages. Your $399 setup covers building your site (including 2 design revision rounds) and your first month. Your first $139 payment is one month after launch, then on the same day each month. 3-month minimum: $677 total ($399 + 2 × $139). Extra pages are $75, or $150 if we write them, and there's a 5-page pack for $299. Sites of 16–30 pages are +$50/month; over 30 pages, we quote it. Full details are on the pricing page.
Is there a contract?
There's a simple service agreement with a 3-month minimum. After that, cancel anytime using our cancellation form (email works too if the form doesn't), with notice at least 30 days before your next billing date. Notice you give during the minimum runs inside it, so your last month can be month 3. No phone call needed.
When does billing start?
Your $399 setup covers building your site (including 2 design revision rounds) and your first month. Your first $139 payment is one month after launch, then on the same day each month. 3-month minimum: $677 total ($399 + 2 × $139). Billing can start before launch if we're waiting on you past the 15-day deadline (you'll agree to this when you sign); it pauses if we've received nothing after 60 days.
Will my price go up?
Your monthly price is locked for your first year.
Who owns my domain?
You do. It stays registered in your name at your registrar, and you pay for it directly. We only need access to point it at your site.
What if I don't like the design?
Your build includes 2 full design revision rounds. If it still isn't right, you can leave before launch: you owe nothing more, we delete our copies of your information, photos and content within 30 days, and your domain was always yours.
How do I cancel?
Use the cancellation form. It's the official way to give notice, and you'll get a reference number on screen and your end date by email. If the form doesn't work for you, email us instead. No phone call needed, and nobody will try to talk you out of it.
What happens if I leave?
After launch, once your account is paid in full, you get your complete website: the code plus all the text and photos on it. Your domain was always yours. We delete our copies of your information, photos and content within 30 days of your cancellation date. You'll need a new host and someone to make changes, and we'll help you move.
